It was my distinct privilege to help celebrate the dedication of the Chief Billy Haynie Memorial Highway in Calhoun Falls. Friday night at Blue Hole Recreation Area, I presented the Concurrent Resolution and commemorative road signs to Mrs. Haynie and her family. Saturday morning, I was present at the ribbon cutting on Highway 72. Special thanks to Mayor Pro Tem Mindy Boggs Rogers, Jami Steifle, former Mayor Lee Garrett and Chief Galloway for their efforts in making this a success.
