I believe our area is very special and our workers can compete with any workers anywhere. We deserve the chance to show it. I have and will continue to work to help our district grow through bringing more economic opportunity here. Good jobs bring motivation, self-respect, dignity and, ultimately, success to individuals and our community. Business opportunities can be enhanced by passing legislation to reduce red tape and helping improve existing laws to allow businesses to succeed. Since my election, I have been honored many times by business groups and the SC Chamber of Commerce as a pro-business legislator.
